The Meeting of the PUK & PSK delegations.
On Monday, 25th November 2024, in Erbil, Saadi Ahmed Pire, the Spokesperson for the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), welcomed Bayram Bozyel, the Chairman of the Kurdistan Socialist Party (PSK) in Türkiye, along with Selva Baksi and Celal Yıldız, the party's deputies; Masoud Tek, a member of the Leadership Council; and Wali Jolemergi, the party's representative in the Kurdistan Region.
The meeting, which was also attended by Rebaz Berkuti, a member of the Leadership Council, and several advisers to the Political Bureau, saw Pire emphasising the long-standing ties between the PUK and the PSK, both politically and ideologically. He particularly highlighted the strong bond between President Mam Jalal and Kemal Burkay, forged through their joint struggle for freedom, democracy, peace, and human rights.
Pire noted that the PUK takes great pride in the shared history of the struggle between the two parties and remains committed to further strengthening coordination and relations with all Kurdish political entities, both within the Kurdistan Region and beyond, especially with the PSK.
The PSK delegation expressed their pleasure with the meeting and reflected on the significant milestones in the history of their joint struggle, especially the nationalist and pro-Kurdish stance of President Mam Jalal in advocating for a peaceful resolution to the legitimate issues of the Kurdish people across all parts of Kurdistan.
