PUK President Congratulates President Trump on Historic Re-election, Highlights Strong Kurdistan-US Ties

Bafel Jalal Talabani, the President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) has congratulated Donald Trump on his re-election as President of the United States, praising the strong bond between the Kurdistan Region and the US. 

In a statement posted on X, the PUK President said: "I congratulate Donald Trump on his historic re-election." 

He also emphasised the significance of the relations between the Kurdistan Region and the US, saying that they "have a strong bond rooted in shared values of commitment to stability and peace in the world."

" We look forward to continuing and strengthening our partnership to promote security and prosperity," he concluded.

The Republican candidate, Donald Trump, has won the presidential election, marking his return to the White House after four years. He will become the 47th President of the US in its 60th term.
