The Iraqi Ministry of Migration and Displaced has announced the return of 181 displaced individuals from the camps in the Shekhan district of Duhok Province to their homes in Sinjar. They received a total of 724 million dinars in financial support in line with the directives of the Federal Council of Ministers.

A press release from the Federal Ministry of Migration, which PUKMEDIA has obtained, states that this return is part of the Federal Government's programme aimed at facilitating the repatriation of displaced persons to their original homes.

According to the Federal Council of Ministers' guidelines, any displaced family returning from the camps to their homes will be granted 4 million dinars, along with a plot of land and eligibility for additional benefits and assistance. The funds provided to the families returning to Sinjar were issued in accordance with these guidelines.
