Erbil IHEC Elections

The Independent High Electoral Commission (IHEC) is continuing, today, Thursday, to audit the results of the unannounced polling stations in the province of Erbil.

In a statement obtained by PUKMEDIA, the Commission indicated that it will audit the unannounced stations in Erbil province today, having already completed the audits for the stations in Duhok and Sulaymaniyah provinces.

The IHEC has previously released preliminary results from the sixth term of the Kurdistan parliamentary elections, revealing that 99.63% of the votes have been counted. However, the Commission is still awaiting voting data from 26 polling stations.

In an earlier announcement, a photo was sent to PUKMEDIA to provide clarity on the auditing process. The IHEC has encouraged all agents, party allies, observers from international and local organisations, and journalists to monitor the auditing activities at the centres closely.
