Iraqi Presidency Publishes Message on Successful Kurdistan Parliamentary Elections

The Presidency of the Republic of Iraq issued a message to the people of Kurdistan on the occasion of the successful Kurdistan Parliamentary elections. In this message, the Presidency urged political parties and blocs to engage in constructive national dialogue to establish a regional government prioritising service to the people.
Below is the full text of the message:
On the occasion of the successful parliamentary elections in the Kurdistan Region, the Presidency of the Republic extends its congratulations to the people of the Kurdistan Region and to all political parties and blocs that took part in this significant democratic exercise. It also praises the high level of professionalism and integrity demonstrated by the Independent High Electoral Commission in overseeing the electoral process.
The Presidency of the Republic of Iraq urges all political parties to engage in constructive national dialogue to establish a regional government focused on prioritising service to the people and work to enhance construction and reconstruction efforts, support economic recovery, and achieve sustainable development.
Elections, as a fundamental constitutional entitlement, are a crucial pillar of our unified federal parliamentary democratic system and a source of pride for all Iraqis. From this perspective, the Presidency calls for respect for the election results and the people's free will. It also reaffirms its commitment to completing the constitutional and democratic process in the Kurdistan Region, promoting national unity and fulfilling the aspirations of our people for development, prosperity, and progress.
