An expert analyst on Iraq said in a post on X: "Regarding the Bafel-Qubad tape, it is a script from heaven for KDP."

Michael Knights, an expert analyst on Iraq who is also the Editor-In-Chief of Militia Spotlight, stated: "I  have grave doubts about this recording. Seems like a composite of sampled Bafel and deepfake."

 He also said: "Anyone who knows the two and how they speak will feel the wrongness."

"Script from heaven for KDP ahead of elections. Implausibly damning by design," he added.
