Qubad Talabani: The KDP is Defeated, Broken, and Terrified of the Elections

Qubad Talabani, a member of the Political Bureau, confirmed that the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) understands it cannot manipulate voters' ballots in these elections, which is why it resorts to cheap tactics.

Qubad Talabani stated at an election rally in the Sangasar district of the Raparin administration on Tuesday: “In these elections, the KDP is fully aware that it cannot manipulate the votes, so it has distorted my and Mr. Bafel’s voices. Today, they released a fake audio recording, falsely claiming that Mr. Bafel and I were talking on the phone.”

He added: "This is proof that the KDP is defeated, broken, and terrified of the elections. It knows it cannot manipulate the ballot boxes, so it has resorted to desperate measures, much like a drowning man grasping at straws. However, our people are too aware to be fooled by these cheap tactics."

Today, the KDP, through its High Elections Committee, released a statement based on a fake recording of Bafel Jalal Talabani and Qubad Talabani. As Qubad Talabani stated, "This is a low act of fraud." The PUK media also replied briefly: "Not even artificial intelligence can save you."
