Kirkuk & Basra Commemorate the Legacy of President Mam Jalal on 7th Anniversary

Today marks the seventh anniversary of President Mam Jalal's passing, which will be commemorated in Kirkuk. Meanwhile, Basra will host the second conference at the University of Basra to honour his legacy.
According to information gathered by PUKMEDIA, several Iraqi and Kurdish leaders, along with party and government officials, have been invited to commemorate the anniversary of the nation's glory.
Earlier, Ambassador Dr. Mohammed Sabir, Head of the President Jalal Talabani Foundation, announced at a news conference that this year’s commemoration of President Mam Jalal’s passing will take place in Kirkuk. Previous events were held in Erbil and Baghdad, marking the seventh anniversary of his death.
Mam Jalal was the first Iraqi president and the Secretary-General of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan. On 17th December 2012, he was sent to Germany for medical treatment due to his deteriorating health. Sadly, on 3rd October 2017, he suffered a heart attack and passed away.
