PUK 129: The Only Party Capable of Change and Governance Reform

The Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) promotes the slogan of correcting the course of governance and aims for a radical transformation in the administration of the Kurdistan Region. Its focus includes ending discrimination and ensuring equal service for all citizens.
PUK President: Ending Tyranny and Fostering Change
PUK President Bafel Jalal Talabani delivered a crucial message at the launch of the election campaigns for the Kurdistan Parliament elections. In his address, he emphasised the significance of these elections, stating, “These elections are very important and different from others; your votes will not be wasted. If you wish to bring about change, vote on October 20 for the party that can correct the course of governance and enhance your standard of living.”
PUK: The Only Party Capable of Making Change
Hiwa Abdulrahman, candidate No. 22 on List No. 129 of the PUK in the Erbil constituency, stated to PUKMEDIA: "As President Bafel Jalal Talabani emphasised in his message, the PUK is the only party capable of bringing about significant change in the administration of the Kurdistan Region and ending discrimination and injustice.”
He added, “The PUK can put an end to discrimination and the exploitation of government institutions for partisan and personal interests, as well as the monopoly of power by a single party. We are committed to restoring balance in the Kurdistan Region and serving all citizens without discrimination.”
He further explained, “We are also focused on improving the living conditions of citizens following the crises they faced under one-party rule, and we aim to restore balance in the Kurdistan Parliament while working to legislate laws that benefit the public.”
PUK Makes Efforts for Rebalancing
Idris Salih Mohammed Qadir, candidate No. 13 on List No. 129 of the PUK in the Sulaymaniyah constituency, stated to PUKMEDIA: “The PUK is diligently working to implement the necessary changes in the governance of the Kurdistan Region.”
"President Bafel is committed to restoring balance in the Kurdistan Region to better serve citizens, address their needs, alleviate their current hardships, and enhance the quality of services. The PUK delivers on any promises it makes," he added.
Restoring Hope for the People of Kurdistan
Raqib Mahmoud, candidate No. 5 on List No. 129 of the PUK in the Duhok constituency, told PUKMEDIA: “President Bafel Jalal Talabani's message for the Kurdistan Parliament elections is clear: the PUK is the only party capable of making changes in the administration of the Kurdistan Region.”
Mahmoud continued, "The PUK has been the only party to restore hope to the people of Kurdistan during difficult times and has enacted many changes in the past. President Bafel Jalal Talabani honours every promise he makes, so it is crucial for us all to support him in implementing reforms and facilitating changes in the administration of the Kurdistan Region.”
