The Iraqi IHEC has announced a workshop to educate all women candidates about its guidelines for the Kurdistan parliamentary elections, covering voting procedures, the women's quota, campaign regulations, and election campaign expenses.

Ahlam Jabri, Head of the Women’s Training Team at IHEC and a member of the council of commissioners, stated at a press conference: “This initiative is led by the commission's women's team, aiming to familiarise women with the electoral process before each election cycle.”

"Women should be well-informed about the electoral system, the procedures for seat distribution, the women's quota, and the quotas for various communities," she stated.
