PUK's election campaign
The Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) has launched its election campaign in the Erbil, Sulaymaniyah, Halabja, and Duhok constituencies without violating the guidelines. In contrast, the other parties started their campaigns ahead of schedule and in breach of the Independent High Electoral Commission's regulations.
After 12 AM on September 25, the PUK List No. 129 initiated a civil and legal campaign across official media, social media platforms, streets, and designated areas.
Latif Nerway Head of PUK's Media Board previously stated: "The PUK media, alongside other party organs, has made comprehensive preparations for the election campaign. With the launch of the campaign, we will deliver a responsible message supported by data, numbers, and documentation."
List 129 of the PUK, which includes 172 candidates, more than 88% of whom hold degrees ranging from diplomas to doctorates, will take part in the upcoming sixth session of the Kurdistan Parliament across all four constituencies. One of their main slogans is 'We will end it.'
