The Iraqi Ministry of Migration and Displacement has allocated approximately 2 billion Iraqi dinars to 493 displaced families who have recently left IDP camps in the Kurdistan Region and returned to their homes in other Nineveh and Sinjar.

According to a press release issued by Iraq's Minister of Migration and Displacement, 493 families who have recently returned home from Kurdistan Region camps will each receive 4 million Iraqi dinars in the form of bank cheques.

One billion 972 million Iraqi dinars is the total amount that will be given in bank cheques to the displaced families.

According to the statement, teams from the Ministry of Migration and Displacement will pay 4 million dinars to each of the 493 displaced families who have returned home. Among them, 126 families returned to Nineveh, while the remaining 367 families returned to Sinjar.

Furthermore, other IDPs who have recently returned to their homes will receive a payment of 4 million dinars in the next few days.
