He stated: "The PUK sincerely admires your dedication and struggle. You are a valuable asset to us, and your endeavours towards the prosperity of Kurdistan and building the new Iraq are a genuine cause for pride."
President Bafel stated, "The PUK will continue President Mam Jalal's prudent policy, with the support of the Kurdish people and their strugglers. We express our gratitude for your support, and we are committed to following your footsteps to build a more promising future and more prosperous Kurdistan."
President Bafel: We are trying to establish a new phase of governance
PUK President Bafel Jalal Talabani later met with Luqman Wardi and Salar Mahmoud, the leaders of the PUK headquarters in Raparin and Garmian.
The participants discussed the most recent arrangements made by the PUK for the elections and emphasised the importance of combining forces to achieve the PUK's goals and establish a strong system of governance.
President Bafel Jalal Talabani outlined Garmian and Raparin's rich and esteemed history, emphasising: "We are indebted to the people of these regions as they have recorded our sovereignty. Hence, the services provided in these regions should far exceed the sacrifices they have made for Kurdistan."
"Each member of the PUK is dedicated to serving the people of these regions. We are unwavering in our commitment to their loyalty, and serving them is a responsibility that we will never turn our backs on," he stated.
"Our Region is facing radical changes and the introduction of a new phase of governance, so all efforts should be within this framework and in order to achieve these goals," he said.
President Bafel: Serving the land and people is the real duty of the PUK
PUK President Bafel Jalal Talabani received Pola Sirwan Talabani, a member of the PUK Leadership Council, in Dabashan, Sulaymaniyah.
He commended Pola Sirwan Talabani for his diligent execution of his obligations and responsibilities and urged him to persist in his service with the same dedication in the future.
President Bafel also discussed the situation in the Kurdistan Region and the execution of corporate responsibilities, emphasising: "The real duty of every PUK member is to serve the land and people of Kurdistan. Hence, all efforts should be directed within this set of principles and aimed at enhancing the lives and welfare of the people. In light of the imminent and critical election, it is obligatory upon us to strive towards establishing a governance system that effectively caters to the needs of the people."
President Bafel: Sulaymaniyah is in our hearts
PUK President Bafel Jalal Talabani met with Ziad Jabar, head of PUK's Sulaymaniyah Organization Centre, in Dabashan.
The meeting reviewed the most recent updates on election preparations in Sulaymaniyah and highlighted the importance of adhering to organizational principles to protect citizens' rights and public service.
President Bafel Jalal Talabani pointed to the role and influence of Sulaymaniyah in all equations and events and said: "Sulaymaniyah is in our hearts, as no party accomplishment holds greater significance than the life of a citizen of the city. The contributions made by this city and its people to Kurdistan far exceed what has been done for them. The past instances of discrimination and prejudice inflicted upon the city were an unsuccessful endeavour to suppress the city that has never abandoned its resilient stances. This time, therefore, we will stand together with our beloved people with unwavering courage and resolve to begin a deep transformation and create a platform where everyone's rights are upheld and citizens' lives are not compromised by personal and political motives.."
