The governor of Kirkuk has expressed his commitment to reconstruct the regions affected by terrorism and enable the internally displaced persons (IDPs) to return to their homes.

Kirkuk Governor Rebwar Taha convened a meeting with Saad Amin, the Chairman of the Reconstruction Fund for Areas Affected by Terrorist Operations. The purpose of the meeting was to address the matter of collaborative endeavours between the Kirkuk administration and the fundin response to the requests put out by the Kirkuk Governor.

The governor emphasised the need to support Kirkuk and the efforts to achieve stability and rebuild the regions affected by terrorism. This includes alleviating their hardships, repatriating the IDPs to their homes, ensuring the rights of citizens, and delivering basic services in a manner that aligns with the administration's goals and priorities in serving all Kirkuk residents in both the districts and the city centre.
