PUK's Leadership Council to Convene in Erbil for Key Discussions

On Monday, September 2nd, 2024, the Leadership Council of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) is set to convene its routine meeting in the Province of Erbil.
According to Saadi Ahmed Pire, the Spokesperson for the PUK, today's meeting of the Leadership Council will focus on the most recent arrangements made by the PUK for the upcoming elections of the Kurdistan Parliament. It will also establish the procedures for allocating responsibilities among the members of the Political Bureau, the Leadership Council, and the offices, headquarters, and committees of the PUK.
Pire further said that Yesterday, Sunday, the PUK's Political Bureau convened for the same objectives. "There will be further meetings that will take place until the date of the elections, which is on October 20th, 2024," stated Pire.
Furthermore, Pire informed PUKMEDIA that further details regarding both meetings will be made available either through a news conference or an official statement following the Leadership Council meeting.
