Senior PUK Official: PMF's Entry to Garmian is Unacceptable

The Popular Mobilisation Forces (PMF) entered the Garmian Administration without the knowledge of the local security forces, which has been deemed unacceptable by a high-ranking official in the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK).

A high-ranking PUK official informed PUKMEDIA that the PMF entering Garmian and Chalaw Khalid field constitutes a violation of the border and was carried out without the knowledge of the official forces in the region. 

"The force will not be allowed to remain in the area under any circumstances," the official said.

"We have asked the centre (Baghdad) to withdraw the force directly because this violation is unacceptable," the official said.
