The Iraqi President, Dr. Abdullatif Jamal Rashid, met with Ambassador of Germany Christine Huhmann, Mrs. Laetitia Van Asch, the Chargé d'Affaires of the Netherlands, Marie-Thérèse Helal, the Chargé d'Affaires of the Embassy of Canada, and Angus Clarkson, the Political Advisor of the British Embassy. 

According to a statement from the Iraqi Presidency, the meeting took place at the Baghdad Palace on Tuesday. President Rashid stated that the Iraqi government is working on a comprehensive plan to rejuvenate factories and attract investors. This is due to the favourable opportunities for companies to invest in Iraq and carry out development projects, particularly with the current political, security, and economic stability in the country.

President Rashid emphasised Iraq's commitment to combatting violence against women and children, addressing the refugee crisis, promoting human rights, and fostering international collaboration. President Rashid stated that Iraq strongly upholds human rights and prioritises its values, relying on them as the foundation for legislation and societal structure. The presidency and the relevant parties actively address and thoroughly investigate any complaints. 

The diplomatic envoys' representatives expressed contentment with the progress made in Iraq and emphasised their countries' dedication to promoting Iraq's stability and enhancing cooperation in various fields.
