DPM Talabani Receives Iranian Acting Foreign Minister in Sulaymaniyah

Kurdistan Region's DPM Qubad Talabani and Ali Bagheri Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran.

Deputy Prime Minister Qubad Talabani met with Ali Bagheri, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran, in Sulaymaniyah.

DPM Talabani, accompanied by Sulaymaniyah Governor Haval Abubakr, Political Bureau Member of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan Shallaw Kosrat Rasul, Deputy Head of the Foreign Relations Department Daban Shadala, and several other officials, greeted Bagheri and his delegation at Sulaymaniyah International Airport.

During a meeting, the participants deliberated on the diplomatic ties between Iran and the Kurdistan Region, as well as strategies to enhance relations across other domains.

Both parties engaged in a discussion regarding the historical relations between the Kurdistan Region and Iran. They emphasised the necessity of collaborative efforts to enhance relations across all domains.
