PUK President: Confront Lawbreakers with Utmost Force

Bafel Jalal Talabani, the President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), convened a meeting with security, intelligence, and Peshmerga officials at the headquarters of the General Directorate of Asayish (Security) Operations in Sulaymaniyah.
The meeting deliberated on matters pertaining to security and intelligence, the synchronisation of efforts among the forces, and underscored the imperative of ongoing collaboration to safeguard the lives of individuals and maintain peace in the region.
Regarding the improvement of human and military capabilities and expanding coordination between the forces, President Bafel said: "The peace and security of the region rely on your capabilities and skills. Therefore, all endeavours should be directed towards this objective, prioritising the preservation of human lives. Enhancing coordination and collaboration among you is a crucial element in attaining this noble aim. Adhere to the applicable laws and judicial rulings, confront lawbreakers with utmost force, and prevent any chances for those who jeopardise the stability of the region and the safety of our citizens."
President Bafel spoke on the collaboration and coordination between the security, military, and intelligence entities of the Kurdistan Region and Baghdad and said: "Perpetuate the robust relations that has been forged. I commend your collaborative efforts in countering terrorism and upholding regional stability, which have produced favourable and promising outcomes. I extend my best wishes for your continued achievements."
Furthermore, President Bafel expressed gratitude to the Kurdistan Peshmerga Forces, the President, officers, and employees of the Zanyari Agency, the Kurdistan Region's Security Agency (Asayish), the Counter-Terrorism Group, Commando, Operations and Peshmerga Force's Intelligence, the internal forces, and the police directorate for their unwavering commitment to upholding peace and security and consistently fulfilling their national obligations with utmost diligence.
