PUK President: PUK Will Participate in Elections with its People's Support

The President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) stated that the PUK, relying on its devoted people and dedication to national interests, will participate in the elections with optimism, hoping to bring about a change in government and achieve a more promising and equitable future.
PUK President Bafel Jalal Talabani stated that he met with Dr. Miran Mohammed, a member of the PUK's Leadership Council, in Dabashan. They discussed the arrangements for the next Kurdistan legislative elections, as well as the responsibilities related to the party and its organisation.
He declared: "We stressed that the PUK will participate in the elections with the support of its devoted people and a commitment to national interests. We approach the elections with optimism, aiming to bring about a transformation in governance and create a fairer and more promising future. Hence, it is imperative that all centres and organisations redouble their efforts in this matter."
During the meeting, President Bafel commended Dr. Miran Mohammed for his previous duties and responsibilities and encouraged him to maintain his dedication and loyalty in his future work and services. The President expressed hope that Dr. Mohammed's actions would benefit the lives of the people of Kurdistan.
