Kurdish parties of the Kurdistan Region, Iraqi parties, and Kurdish parties in West Kurdistan all extended congratulations to the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) on its 49th founding anniversary. 

Kurdistan Democratic Party, Gorran Movement, State of Law Coalition, National State Forces Alliance, Babylon Movement,  Assyrian Patriotic Party, Assyrian Democratic Movement, Iraqi National Congress, Iraq Turkmen People Party, Kurdistan National Party, National Reform Movement, Kurdistan Democracy Libration Movement all congratulated the PUK  and wished it more success and development.

They acknowledged the PUK's standing and sacrifices for democracy and freedom and wished for this anniversary to become a factor for unity and harmony among the Kurdish political parties.
