PUK President: Our Hearts are With Iranian People

Bafel Jalal Talabani, President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), expressed solidarity with the Iranian people following the crash of a helicopter that was carrying President Ebrahim Raisi.

President Bafel said in a statement: "The unforeseen helicopter crash involving Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and those accompanying him has caused concern. Our hearts are with the Iranian people and the country's leadership." 

"We ask God to return safely to the Iranian people," he added.
