The Political Bureau of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) extends its congratulations to Muslims in Kurdistan, Iraq, and around the globe on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, stating that the PUK emphasises that this year's Eid aligns with the potential for enhancing the livelihood of citizens, a persistent demand and priority for the PUK.
The PUK Political Bureau conveyed a greeting for Eid.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Muslims in Kurdistan, Iraq, and around the globe on the auspicious occasion of Eid al-Fitr.
May all prayers and fasting be accepted by God, and may this Eid foster freedom, strengthen the sense of brotherhood and coexistence. May the people of Kurdistan and Iraq experience a peaceful and joyful Eid.
This year's holiday aligns with the opportunity to enhance the livelihood of citizens, a longstanding demand and insistence of the PUK. We hope that this holiday will serve as a celebration of democracy and pave the way for next elections, which are essential for our deserving people.
