President Bafel while giving his speech

In Kirkuk, a major mass carnival in support of the Kirkuk coalition drew tens of thousands of participants on Thursday afternoon, with Bafel Jalal Talabani, President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), in attendance.

President Bafel gave a speech and said: "Kirkuk's future is in your hands, thus I ask you to vote and decorate the ballot boxes with green green Kirkuk, since it is up to you to choose your city's next governor."

"We pledge to prevent any negligence against the children of our city and aim to demonstrate in the upcoming administration of Kirkuk how to rule effectively and eradicate this unjust governance," said President Bafel.
