President Bafel Urges Chinese Businesses to Engage More Actively in Kurdistan's Economic Growth

PUK President & Chinese Consul General met at Dabashan
Bafel Jalal Talabani, President of the Patriotic
Union of Kurdistan (PUK), received Liu Jun, the Chinese Consul General in the
Kurdistan Region, at Dabashan, Sulaymaniyah.
During the meeting, President Bafel
Jalal Talabani expressed the PUK's desire to improve coordination with China in
all areas. Political Bureau member Shanaz Ibrahim Ahmed also attended. He also expressed the hope that the long-standing relationship
between the Kurdish people and China, which President Mam established, would
continue to grow and develop.
President Bafel encouraged Chinese businesses to engage more effectively and
actively in the economic development of the Kurdistan Region during the
meeting, where he also reaffirmed his complete support for them.
The meeting also discussed the most recent political, economic, and
security events in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region, with an emphasis on
maintaining communication and understanding, as well as peacefully resolving
disputes, in order to maintain stability and overcome obstacles.
