President Bafel Pays Tribute to PUK's Martyrs

On the PUK's Martyrs' Day, Bafel Jalal Talabani, President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), paid tribute to the PUK's martyrs in a message.

President Bafel's message said:

On this day, we gather to honor and pay tribute to the PUK martyrs, symbolizing our steadfast devotion and loyalty. Furthermore, we are grateful for their families' unwavering determination and perseverance.

The PUK has consistently served as an icon of the Kurdish struggle and will continue to do so in the future. Our nation's historical narrative is marked by a remarkable sense of glory and brilliance, with each day throughout the year representing a continuous endeavor marked by arduous efforts, selfless acts, and the ultimate sacrifice of martyrs, all in service of our homeland. The Martyrs' Party's sovereignty is documented in the history books.

The victims' sacrifice is ingrained in our minds, evoking a profound sense of reverence as we instinctively place our palms on our hearts when their names are mentioned. The tenacity and perseverance displayed by the martyrs' relatives have not gone unnoticed. We consider ourselves indebted to all those who carried the PUK in their hearts despite losing their sons. They truly own the PUK, and we are merely their servants.
