President Bafel's meeting with Volke Perthes

Bafel Jalal Talabani, President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), received Volke Perthes, Head of the Independent Strategic Review Team of the United Nations Assistance Mission in Iraq (UNAMI).

Dara Khaylani, Head of the PUK's Foreign Relations Board, also attended the meeting. The discussion revolved around the significance of UNAMI's endeavors in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region, as well as the facilitation of coordination efforts aimed at upholding peace and stability within the nation.

President Bafel expressed his gratitude for the United Nations' contribution in fostering greater alignment between the political parties in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region. He emphasized the importance of maintaining ongoing collaboration to further enhance the principles of unity and coexistence.
