Qubad Talabani Meets U.S. and UK Consul Generals to Discuss Kurdistan-Baghdad Issues

The Kurdistan Region's Deputy Prime Minister Qubad Talabani met with the U.S. Consul General Mark Stroh and British Acting Consul General Catherine Shaw to discuss ways to resolve the issues between the Kurdistan Region and Baghdad.

They were all in agreement that the discussions needed to be intensified to find immediate solutions to the problems, especially to remove obstacles to the implementation of the budget law. In addition, they emphasized that resolving the region's internal conflicts would facilitate the resolution of those with Baghdad.
