Duties of PUK Politburo Members Determined

On Sunday, October 15, 2023, a meeting was convened by the Political Bureau of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) to deliberate and establish the responsibilities assigned to the members of the party's Political Bureau.

During the news conference, Saadi Ahmed Pire, the spokesperson for the PUK, announced that the Political Bureau, in its meeting today, made the decision to delegate the tasks and responsibilities to the following individuals:

Qubad Talabani / Supervisor of the Secretariat of President Mam Jalal

Saadi Ahmed Pire / Spokesperson of the PUK

Darbaz Kosrat Rasul / Head of Relations Organization

Imad Ahmed / Head of Media and Awareness Bureau

Burhan Saeed Sofi/ Head of Democratic Organizations
 
Sarkawt Zaki / Head of Organization Bureau

Talar Latif/ Head of Legal Affairs Bureau

Blesa Jabar Farman/ Head of Martyrs Affairs

Nizar Amedi/ Head of the PUK Bureau in Baghdad

Razgar Haji Hama / Head of Election Agency

Sheikh Ahmed Hama Karim and Shwan Qadir / Head of Finance and Public Administration

Yousif Goran/ Head of Studies Bureau

Shallaw Sheikh Salah/ Head of the Bureau of the President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan 

According to PUK's spokesperson, upcoming sessions of the Political Bureau will address matters pertaining to the PUK headquarters (centers), including the appointment of heads of the headquarters.

Pire also stated that it was highlighted during the meeting that a senior delegation will visit with all the parties in order to deliberate on the PUK's stance subsequent to the congress. Additionally, the mission would prioritize fostering unity and focusing on serving people.
