PUK President Sends a Team of Lawyers to Kirkuk

Bafel Jalal Talabani, President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, has appointed a volunteer legal team to defend the cases of the martyrs, injured, and victims of yesterday's events in Kirkuk.
"President Bafel Jalal Talabani has instructed the PUK Legal Affairs Center to send a team of lawyers to defend the rights of the victims of the unwanted situation in Kirkuk," Talar Latif, head of the PUK's Legal Affairs Center, told PUKMEDIA.
"This situation is unacceptable, and the PUK will be a strong defender of Kirkuk and its people. We will investigate and take legal action for the rights of all martyrs and injured in unwanted incidents in Kirkuk and all those who suffered," she said.
Four youths were killed and several others injured in an incident that occurred in Kirkuk yesterday. As a first practical step, the PUK President decided to send a team of lawyers to defend the people of Kirkuk.
