Newly appointed KRG Representative to Spain

Darawan Haji Hamid Ghaffar has been appointed as the Kurdistan Regional Government's (KRG) official representative in Spain. 
 
Safin Dizayee, Head of the Department of Foreign Relations (DFR) of the KRG, has designated Darawan Haji Hamid as the officially appointed representative of the KRG to Spain.
 
"In the context of efforts to enhance diplomatic ties with foreign nations and the global community, Darawan Hamid has been appointed as the KRG's representative to Spain," said Daban Shadala, the Deputy Head of the DFR, who was in attendance at the ceremony. 

Dizayee expressed DFR's support for Hamid in a Twitter post, adding, "I do not doubt that his efforts will contribute to strengthening our relations with Spain." 
 
Hamid thanked Bafel Jalal Talabani, the President of the PUK, and the Political Bureau for their confidence in him and nomination to the position in an interview with Kurdsat News. 
 
Hamid declared his intent to make a significant contribution in any professional setting he finds himself in, as well as his commitment to serving his country. In addition, he promises to establish a trustworthy reputation among everyone in his new position. 
 
The KRG has representatives in fourteen countries in total. Due to Daban Shadala's appointment as the Department's Deputy Head, the aforementioned position has remained unfilled for a considerable amount of time.
