Kurdistan Asayish Agency Announces the Arrest of Two ISIS Terrorists

The Asayish Agency in Sulaymaniyah Province and the Garmian Administration detained two people wanted in connection with Article 4 of the Terrorism Act.
According to a statement from the Kurdistan Asayish Agency, of which PUKMEDIA also received a copy, a thorough investigation into the whereabouts of two individuals wanted for violating Article 4 of the Terrorism Act was conducted, and two successful operations to apprehend them were conducted.
According to the statement, the Asayish forces captured the first wanted person on July 24, 2023, with the assistance of the Garmian Security Directorate. He was hiding out near the Khanaqin District. The second wanted person, the commander of an ISIS detachment, was apprehended on July 27, 2023, with the assistance of the Sulaymaniyah Asayish Directorate.
The statement read, "According to Article 4 of the Terrorism Act, the suspects have been turned over to law enforcement."
