Badinan Detainees Representative: Security Forces Kidnapped Omed Baroshki

After Omed Baroshki stated at a press conference yesterday that "Masrour Barzani decided to punish Sherwan Sherwani above the law and with a police mentality," he was kidnapped at 12:30 a.m. last night, according to Ayhan Saeed, a representative of Badinan detainees.

"The Kurdistan Democratic Party's security forces are responsible for the fate and safety of Omed Baroshki because kidnapping with brutal beatings and without a court order has become a model in Badinan," he added.

In addition, he stated that Omed Baroshki is a courageous and free journalist who was previously sentenced to three and a half years in prison.
