PUK and KDP meet in Erbil

The PUK and KDP's meeting.

A delegation of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) arrived in Pirmam, Erbil, for a meeting and was welcomed by Fazil Mirani and his accompanying delegation from the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP).

Rizgar Haji Hamad, a member of the PUK Political Bureau, told PUKMEDIA that the meeting covers the topics that have been discussed between the PUK and KDP, particularly the elections.

The PUK Election Agency and the KDP Election Office had previously met in Erbil on Friday, May 19, 2023, to discuss the election matter as part of negotiations between the PUK and KDP over the modification of the electoral law of the Kurdistan Region.
