President Bafel to KTU: You are a role model for Kurdistan

Bafel Jalal Talabani, President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), congratulated the Kurdistan Teachers Union (KTU) on the anniversary of its establishment.
 
The following is the statement of President Bafel:
 
On the occasion of KTU's anniversary of its founding, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to the Kurdistan teachers, the president, and the Secretariat of the KTU.
 
KTU has played a significant role in educating many generations of Kurdistan at all stages of its history. It has participated in the revolution and armed conflict as fighters and heroes. We extend our best wishes and sincere gratitude on this historic occasion to all the courageous educators who, despite all the challenging circumstances, did not abandon the educational process and cared about the future generations of our people.
 
The PUK has continually advocated for and supported educators, which it will continue to do in the future. We will plan and collaborate to support additional teachers throughout the future academic year. We are committed to your work since you are a role model for Kurdistan.
