Kosrat Rasul: Problems should be addressed through dialogue

Ammar Al-Hakim, the head of the Iraqi National Wisdom Movement, was greeted by Kosrat Rasul Ali, Chairman of the Supreme Political and Interest Council of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), in Sulaymaniyah on Friday afternoon, May 12, 2023. 

Darbaz Kosrat Rasul, a member of the Executive Board of the Political Bureau of the PUK, and several members of the Political Bureau of the National Wisdom Movement were present at the meeting. 

Kosrat Rasul welcomed the visiting delegation, discussed the depth and history of the two sides' relationship, and praised the Al-Hakim family's role in the heroic and revolutionary reconstruction. 

He also stressed the importance of improving relationships between Kurdish and Iraqi political parties and forces, saying that all parties and factions are responsible for upholding unity and finding amicable solutions to differences. 

Ammar Al-Hakim expressed his happiness over Kosrat Rasul's well-being and his appreciation for the brave and selfless role he performed during the trying times of the struggle.
