KRG PM, Deputy PM emphasize the need to maintain unity

Masrour Barzani, Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region, welcomed Qubad Talabani, Deputy Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region, on Monday, May 8, 2023.

The meeting focused on the Kurdistan Regional Government's (KRG) financial and administrative issues. Both parties agreed that the issues will be resolved through dialogue and collaboration among the cabinets’ Ministerial groups.

Furthermore, the present political situation in the Kurdistan Region was analyzed, as was the need to maintain internal unity and collaboration to safeguard the national interests and constitutional rights of citizens of the Kurdistan Region.

"I had a pleasant and productive lunch with PM MasrourBarzani today," Qubad Talabani tweeted regarding the meeting.

"Together, we are united in the belief that we can overcome our challenges, work towards better serving our citizens, and remain strong in the face of the many threats facing the Kurdistan Region," he added.
