Iraqi PM, KRG deputy PM discuss key national issues

On Monday, April 10, 2023, Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia' Al-Sudani met with Qubad Talabani, the Kurdistan Region's Deputy Prime Minister.

The parties touched on the development of the general situation and key national issues, as well as ways to enhance government work and implement service and reform initiatives.

They also examined the coordination and integration efforts between the federal government and the Kurdistan Regional Government in various fields, so as to advance the general interests of all Iraqis.

PM Sudani reaffirmed the importance of enhancing the quality of services to meet the aspirations of Iraqi citizens in every governorate. And that the executive bodies, with widespread public and political backing and support, have made rapid progress on infrastructure, economic reform, and addressing the fundamental needs of citizens.
