President Bafel receives Muthanna al-Samarrai al-Samara

Bafel Jalal Talabani, President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), received Muthanna Al-Samarrai, the head of the All-Azm Alliance, at Dabashan, Sulaymaniyah Province.

During the meeting, they covered the most recent political and economic developments. They highlighted the need for cooperation between political forces and parties as well as the continuance of dialogue to find solutions and keep the nation stable.

Another topic discussed at the meeting was the agreement between Baghdad and the Kurdistan Region on oil exports. "From the beginning, the PUK has been in support of a final resolution to the problems and an end to the disputes," said President Bafel Jalal Talabani of the agreement.
"The agreement reached between Baghdad and the Kurdistan Region on oil exports via SOMO is an important step toward ushering in a new political era and resolving concerns through the Constitution," President Bafel continued.
