President Bafel receives KSDP leader at Dabashan

Bafel Jalal Talabani, the President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), received Mohammed Haji Mahmoud, the Leader of the Kurdistan Socialist Democratic Party.
 
Salar Sarhad, Head of the Kurdistan Relations Board, attended the meeting, which discussed the most recent political developments in the Kurdistan Region and Iraq and stressed the need for dialogue in resolving disputes.
 
The meeting also covered the upcoming elections in the Kurdistan Region, and both parties committed to holding free and fair elections on a schedule that would satisfy the needs of all parties.
 
President Bafel Jalal Talabani reaffirmed PUK's dedication to national unity and resolution, stating: "Disputes do not advance the situation in Kurdistan Region, and instead, our efforts should focus on strengthening our unity and enhancing our ability to serve the needs of our people."
