Shanaz Ibrahim Ahmed discusses with members of the Leadership Council changes in positions

Shahnaz Ibrahim Ahmed, a member of the administrating board in the Political Bureau of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) and supervisor of the PUK centers in (Slemani, Chamchamal, Sharazor, Garmian, and Raparin), met on Monday with members of the Leadership Council within the borders of the centers in the city of Slemani.
Shanaz Ibrahim Ahmed spoke during the meeting, about the situation within the PUK and the status of the PUK in the light of the latest political developments in the Kurdistan Region, Iraq, and the region, especially the relations of the PUK with forces and political parties in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region, and the efforts of the President of the PUK, Bafel Jalal Talabani, in Baghdad and from this point of view, she saw the importance of strengthening the position of the PUK and the Kurds to achieve a balance of power in the Kurdistan Region and Iraq.
In another aspect of the meeting, they talked about the steps that should be taken to make changes in the centers to renew and better organize the party's affairs.
At the same time, the proposals of the head of centers were presented so that they can have a role in their regions and for their efforts to reflect the demands of the Kurdish people and the PUK loyalists who have always supported this struggling party.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the attendees clarified their observations and suggestions and stressed the need for the leading members to have a major role within the boundaries of their regions and to coordinate and cooperate more with the centers.
