The Nineveh Organizations Center of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) confirmed that the Turkish Zilkan base in Bashiqa was subjected to a missile attack.

On Thursday, Ghiath Surchi, Media Officer of the Nineveh Organizations Center PUK, told PUKmedia that the Turkish camp in Bashiqa was subjected to a missile attack with 10 missiles at exactly 3:15 a.m. today, explaining that the missiles landed in the vicinity of the base.

"The bombing did not result in any human or material losses," he added.

On the other hand, a group calling itself "Ahrar Sinjar" claimed the bombing of the Zlikan base, pointing out that it targeted the camp with 18 missiles that accurately hit its targets.

The group stressed in a statement that it does not accept any mediation that does not put an end to the continuous Turkish aggression, with guarantees otherwise it will "return fire with fire, blood with blood, and the initiator is darker."

Yesterday, Wednesday, Turkish warplanes bombed areas in Makhmour and Shingal, causing deaths and injuries.
