Erbil's Warte, one of tourists' favorite destinations

Warte is a district in Erbil governorate that lies 30 km from the city of Ranya. Warte consists of several tourism areas, and a huge number of tourists visit the resorts annually.

The presence of fresh water and the geographical location of several fruitful trees has led a large number of tourists to visit the area daily, especially on Fridays.

The district has been expanded into a tourism area for four years, its residents were previously engaged in animal husbandry, but since 2017, they have made much of the area a tourism destination, creating 2,000 campers in different places, which gives the area a beautiful view and attracts tourists in a short period.
