Solaf Sports Club preparing for Kurdistan First Division Championship

The women team of Solaf Sports Club in Kirkuk continue their training to participate in the current Kurdistan First Division Championship.

Gaillan Sheikh Star Al-Barzanji, the secretary of the club, told PUKmedia that the team was formed in 2019, and it aimed to qualify for the Premier League, where the management of the club provided a hall to conduct training units for the players and sports equipment, with the allocation of a car for transportation.

He also stated that Zubair Abdul Salam, the Supervisor of the team, played a significant role in conducting the training.

Gaillan Al-Barzanji explained that the team's first match in the Kurdistan Premier League ended in a loss with Snoor Club 8-1, and the second match ended in a 2-2 draw with Kara. He pointed out that they have a match with Hersh Club on Saturday.
