PUK President Reaffirms Commitment to Safeguarding Yazidi Rights

On the occasion of the Yazidi New Year, Bafel Jalal Talabani, the President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), extended his congratulations to the Yazidi community, reaffirming the PUK’s continued support for their rights and recognition of their sacrifices.

PUK President's statement is as follows:

On the occasion of the Yazidi New Year, we extend our warmest congratulations to our Yazidi brothers and sisters, wishing them a joyful celebration and a year filled with peace and tranquillity.

We hold in high regard the sacrifices made by the Yazidi community to preserve their religious identity and heritage. The PUK will continue to support all efforts that safeguard their rights and promote a better life for the Yazidis.
