Qubad Talabani, Supervisor of the Secretariat Bureau of President Mam Jalal, visited the Media and Awareness Bureau of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), where he met with the bureau’s leadership and staff, reaffirming his support for PUK journalists and commending their efforts.
“The PUK is a significant and influential force in Kurdistan, Iraq and the wider region. Therefore, PUK media must continue to develop and renew itself in order to effectively convey the party’s voice and message to the people of Kurdistan, Iraq and beyond,” Talabani wrote in a post on his Facebook page.
“In the presence of Mr Imad Ahmed, Head of the Media and Awareness Bureau, and Mr Latif Nerwayi, Head of the Media Board, I met with media officials and members of the bureau,” he added. “I expressed my appreciation to PUK journalists for their hard work and promised to provide all necessary assistance and support to ensure PUK media evolves in line with the party’s standing.”
