Bafel Jalal Talabani, President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), received Adrian Eiselstein, Consul General of the Netherlands in the Kurdistan Region.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed the latest developments in the ongoing war in the region and its impact on the Kurdistan Region and Iraq.

President Bafel emphasised the importance of keeping the Kurdistan Region away from the conflicts, stating: "All of our efforts are focused on maintaining stability in the Kurdistan Region and protecting our people."
