The Political Bureau of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) has extended its congratulations to Turkmen journalists on the 115th anniversary of Turkmen Press Day.

The message states:

On the occasion of the 115th anniversary of the establishment of Turkmen journalism, we convey our congratulations to all Turkmen journalists in the Kurdistan Region and across Iraq.

Within the framework of press freedom, our Turkmen brothers and sisters have been able to voice their demands and aspirations through media outlets and newspapers as an integral part of Kurdistan, contributing to the strengthening of fraternity with other ethnic communities.

On this occasion, as always, we reaffirm our continued support for the advancement of journalism and cultural activities for our Turkmen brothers and sisters, as well as for all other ethnic and religious communities in the Kurdistan Region.
