Deputy PM Meets Armenian Ambassador.

Qubad Talabani, Deputy Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region, has stressed the importance of strengthening bilateral ties between the Kurdistan Region and Armenia, particularly in the areas of trade and culture.

In a post on Facebook, Talabani said he had discussed with Ruben Soghoyan, Armenia’s Ambassador to Iraq, the need for joint efforts and closer cooperation between the two sides, especially in commercial and cultural sectors.

He added that the longstanding history of coexistence between the Kurdish and Armenian peoples provides a solid foundation for enhancing collaboration and expanding economic and cultural relations between the Kurdistan Region and Armenia at this time.
