PUK and Foundation Alliance Stress Fulfilment of Constitutional Obligations

A delegation from the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), led by Nizar Amedi, met with Mohsen al-Mandalawi, head of the Iraqi Foundation Alliance.

The meeting was attended by Rizgar Haji Hama, a member of the PUK Political Bureau, and focused on the latest political developments in Iraq. Discussions emphasised the importance of expediting the implementation of constitutional requirements in a manner that serves all components of Iraqi society.

Both sides called on all political forces to work towards achieving a national consensus aimed at accelerating the election of the president, the formation of a government, and the normalisation of the country’s political situation.
